 Investigation of most crimes against Maidan stopped as suspects fled or hiding, - MP Soboliev. DOCUMENT

Investigation of the majority of crimes committed against Euromaidan activists has been suspended due to the fact that the suspects have fled or are hiding.

This is stated in a letter of Chairman of Anti-Corruption Committee of the Verkhovna Rada Yehor Soboliev to the heads of parliamentary factions, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainska Pravda.

No one was served notice of suspicion in the case of illegal cancellation of the constitutional reform.

The pre-trial investigation into the case of the dispersal of students Nov. 30, 2013 has been suspended "because the location of suspects was not established and they were put into wanted list."

Only the case of former head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov was brought to court.

The investigation into the beating of activists on Bankova Street Dec. 1, 2013 was stopped due to failure to trace the suspects as well.

The cases of the execution of people in January and February 2014, the "dictatorship laws", the supply and use of special equipment of intense action, and crimes committed by 'titushky' [paid protesters - ed.] are not investigated for the same reason.

No one has been served notice of suspicion in the case of persecution of the Automaidan activists, killed and injured law enforcement officers.
