You know that the special purpose Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has been created within the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine and its head has already been appointed. According to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, the Anti-Corruption Bureau has jurisdiction to investigate such actions, and the procedural control over the investigation should be carried out by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. I think that Saakashvili's statement will be studied, and it is desirable that he aid us, confirm the facts voiced by him in writing. Mr. Sytnyk also made a statement yesterday expressing readiness to file this information into the Unified Register of pre-trial investigations. Therefore, I think this case will be thoroughly investigated," Kutsenko said.
