 Feigin confirms Savchenko's intention to start hunger strike

Ukrainian pilot Nadiia Savchenko's lawyer Mark Feigin has confirmed her intention to declare a hunger strike after Russia's court delivers its verdict.

Feigin said on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, Censor.NET reports.

"I confirm the fact Nadiia is set to start a hunger strike. At the moment, her lawyers are struggling to dissuade her from at least dry fasting," the lawyer said.

However, Feigin said he had never succeeded in dissuading Nadiia, so, he said "something has to be done."

Earlier, Savchenko's sister said the Ukrainian pilot was set to start a dry fasting after the verdict.
