 Biden: "I tend to have more conversations with your president than with my wife. I think they both regret that"

Vice President of the United States Joe Biden said he and Ukrainian President Poroshenko spent more than 1,000 hours in phone conversations.

He said this at a joint press conference with Poroshenko in Kyiv on Monday, Censor.NET cites Ukrainski Novyny.

"It is true I have only been here four times in two years, but I think we have called over a thousand hours over the telephone. I tend to have more direct conversations over longer periods of time with the president than with my wife. I think they both regret that," Biden commented.

The vice president thanked Poroshenko for warm welcoming and the partnership between the U.S. and Ukraine. Biden also noted that 2016 would be decisive for Ukraine's fate.
