Leader of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deputy Refat Chubarov said at a briefing, Censor.NET reports.
On Dec.5, talks on the issue with President Poroshenko were held. It was decided to let electricity to the peninsula via one of the four power lines, namely the Kakhovska-Tytan power line.

"The participants of the blockade decided that electricity supply via Kakhovska-Tytan power line might be resumed," Chubarov said. This will provide electricity to social facilities in the Crimea.
Dzhemilev suggested creating a working group on situation in Crimea including countries of Budapest Memorandum
Chubarov said that this gesture of goodwill on the part of Ukraine will lead to the release of the arrested Crimean Tatar activists. Head of the Mejlis warned that recovery of energy supply might be terminated at the end of December if several conditions are not met.
