"According to the recent figures, about 100 terrorists have attacked the ATO forces' positions near Maiorske at 9 a.m., on Dec. 4. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed the attack, firing from small arms and heavy machine guns, which are not banned by the Minsk agreements," the statement reads.
The militants retreated suffering losses. However, soon after the retreat, the terrorists fired at the Army's positions from 82-mm mortars, IFVs, heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, and small arms.
"20 terrorists and two IFVs were eliminated by Ukrainian soldiers during the battle. What's more, 30 attackers were injured," the press center informed.
