Two terrorist groups conducted tactical 'offensive' north of Avdiivka, attack repulsed, - InfoResist

Russian terrorist troops in the Donbas were shelling the Ukrainian army positions and government-controlled villages from small arms, 82-mm and 120-mm mortars, SPG-9, Zu-23-2, and AGS-17 yesterday.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by MP Dmytro Tymchuk on his Facebook page citing data by the Informational Resistance group.

According to Tymchuk, the enemy's reconnaissance and sabotage groups continue searching into military dispositions of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces and mining the territory. At the midground, infantry groups of the enemy were attempting to provoke the ATO forces for a clash with use of heavy weapons.

He also noted that similar redeployment of infantry groups of the terrorists, covered by fire from two armored combat vehicles, was recorded near Krasnohorivka, the Donetsk region.

"North of Avdiivka, two infantry groups of militants conducted a tactical-level 'offensive.' One terrorist group was distracting with intense rate of fire from one direction, the second group was attempting to reach the ATO forces' strong point from the other direction (from Kruta Balka). The enemy was detected and retreated after retaliation fire," Tymchuk informed.
