Ukrainian intelligence reports aggravation of situation in ATO area

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in eastern Ukraine is getting worse - militants are increasing the number of attacks every day.

This was announced by representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Vadym Skybytskyi on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, Censor.NET reports.

According to him, the situation in the ATO area is very complicated.

"The past day saw only 17 attacks, wheares today, the number of attacks has increased to 31. The enemy seeks to keep our armed forces in constant tension."

Skybytskyi also named the areas of concentration of the enemy's troops and heavy weapons.

"According to our information, the main areas of concentration of troops and heavy weapons as of today are the northern neighborhood of Luhansk, western and southern blocks of Horlivka and Donetsk, as well as a number of other regional settlements: Makiivka, Yenakiieve, Shyroka Balka, and others," the officer noted.

According to Skybytskyi, Ukrainian military record the use of the so-called portable systems for firing single rounds of Grad rockets.
