Russia made no offers on "Yanukovych debt", - Finance Minister Jaresko

The Ministry of Finance has not yet received offers from the Russian side on the restructuring of the Ukrainian debt in the amount of $3 billion.

Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko told journalists, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"We have not yet received any offers. We have only heard them from the media reports just like you. There are only such opinions," Jaresko replied to journalists' question on the alleged offers made by the Russian Federation on the debt restructuring.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia has offered Ukraine to pay its debt by parts: $1 billion each year starting from 2016. However, according to analysts, the private holders of Ukraine's debt, who have recently agreed upon the terms of restructuring the country's debt under the IMF program, will unlikely allow Kyiv to agree on Putin's offer on such conditions of retirement of $3 billion worth Eurobonds.
