The correspondent of Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported that after his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Paris, Poroshenko said that he was planning to visit Turkey in the first quarter of 2016.
"I have had an interesting and meaningful conversation with my Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The meeting was very frank and lasted more than hour," Poroshenko told reporters after his meeting with Erdogan in Paris.
He added that the sides discussed a joint action plan for the future.
"We agreed the plan of our actions regarding preparations to my visit to Turkey, which is scheduled for the first quarter of 2016 and we expect this visit to be a breakthrough," he said.
According to the president of Ukraine, the strengthening of the cooperation in the spheres of economy, policy, and security was meant in particular.
