As reported, Russian-Turkish relations faced a crisis after Tukrish F-16 downed a Russian Su-24 over Turkey on Nov. 24 after 10 warnings. The pilots ejected, one of them died. Russian president called the incident "a stab in the back". Russian government announced sanctions against Turkey in response to the downing on Nov. 25, which were applied by President Putin on Nov. 28.
