 UN sent humanitarian aid to occupied part of Donetsk region

15 trucks with humanitarian aid were sent by the World Food Programme of the United Nations to the inhabitants of the occupied part of the Donetsk region.

Censor.NET reports citing the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine

"15 trucks with humanitarian aid got through Novotroitske checkpoint and headed towards occupied territories. They are delivering 250 tons of food to the residents of the Donetsk region on behalf of the World Food Programme," the statement reads.


In addition, four trucks on behalf of various charitable foundations and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) got through Heorhiivka, Zaitseve, and Hnutove checkpoints, followed by four vehicles carrying humanitarian supplies. They were loaded with construction materials, daily necessities, and medicines.
