 Azarov and Arbuzov's 'wallet,' banker Sotulenko committs suicide

Businessman Ihor Sotulenko, who is linked to the business group of former prime minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, has committed suicide.

This was reported by TSN citing their own sources, Censor.NET informs.

Sotulenko used to head Ukreximbank's supervisory board, was a member of Oshchadbank's supervisory board, and owned a large car trading company.

Kyiv's police confirmed to TSN that Sotulenko jumped out of his apartment's window in Kyiv's downtown on Nov. 25. He has left a suicide note.

In September 2014 Pecherskyi Court of Kyiv ordered to collect 375 million UAH ($15 million) in debts of Ihor Sotulenko and his companies. The businessman was attempting to redirect the case to international jurisdiction in order to hear it under Cyprus legislation. However, Ukraine's Supreme Court rejected the suit on July 1, 2015.
