As reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of Ukroboronprom state company, this was announced by deputy general director on foreign economic activity of the company Denys Hurak at the international Turkey Defence Week 2015 expo.
"Ukraine and Turkey will jointly build their naval industry in order to enhance security and protection in the Black sea waters. This direction will be one of the key aspects of cooperation between the countries," Hurak said as cited by the press service.
He also added that the company is currently focused on attracting foreign investments to develop national defense industry under international standards.
In April this year, Ukraine and Turkey signed agreements on implementation of joint projects in space, aviation, and armored sectors.
