 Poroshenko proposes to amend Constitution to envisage possibility of recognition of International Criminal Court jurisdiction

The possibility to recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court is envisaged in the draft amendments to the Constitution in terms of judicial power submitted by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

It is evidenced by the draft law of Ukraine "on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (in terms of judicial power)" submitted by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to the parliament, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

The bill stipulates that Ukraine may recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court under the conditions specified by the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
