 20-year-old policeman's body found in Mariupol, - prosecutor's office

A body of a 20-year-old police junior sergeant with a temple bullet wound has been found in Mariupol, the Donetsk region, at a "Holubaia Volna" resort house, where "Lviv" special purpose patrol battalion is deployed.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, this was announced by the Donetsk regional prosecution office on Wednesday.

"On Nov. 23, a body of a 20-year-old police junior sergeant with a temple bullet wound has been found at a "Holubaia Volna" resort house in Mariupol, the Donetsk region, where "Lviv" special purpose patrol battalion of the Lviv region National Police is deployed. The sergeant's service gun was found next to the body," the message reads.

According to the message, investigation is underway to establish the reasons for the police officer's death.

Criminal investigation under part 1 article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder) has been launched.
