"The situation in the ATO area remains complicated, threatening with the beginning of local combat operations. On Nov. 23, the enemy fired small arms, including anti-tank rocket launchers and automatic grenade launchers, as well as ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft guns, BMP-2, 82-mm mortars for 53 times, 43 of which were against Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novhorodske, Opytne, Pisky, Troitske (Donetsk direction), five against Zaitseve, Maiorsk (Sloviansk direction), three at Shyrokyne (Mariupol direction), one at Bohdanivka (Volnovakha direction), one at Shchastia (Novoaidar direction)," the report reads.
The Ukrainian side continues to inform the OSCE SMM about the violations of the Minsk agreements by militants. The Mission's representatives have been informed about the presence of tanks, artillery systems over 100-mm (self-propelled howitzers), and 122-mm Grad rocket systems in the vicinity of Horlivka and Zymohiria.
"The enemy has been mostly focused on: strengthening the front line units of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps at the Sloviansk and Mariupol directions; concealing Minsk-prohibited weapons and military equipment in certain areas at the Novoaidar, Slaviansk, and Volnovakha directions; ensuring logistics support of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps; intensifying reconnaissance of the ATO forces positions with the active involvement of sabotage and reconnaissance groups at the Novoaidar, Slaviansk, Donetsk, Volnovakha, and Mariupol directions, as well as front line reconnaissance units, electronic intelligence means, electronic warfare, and drones of Russia's Armed Forces; building up medical support of the Russian occupation command; regrouping the units of the 2nd Army Corps at the Novoaidar direction; rotating 2nd Army Corps personnel; preparing artillery and mechanized infantry units of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps," the report notes.
"Pro-Russian militants' command demonstrate complete negligence of the Minsk agreements. Leader of the so-called "DPR" Zakharchenko has personally sanctioned the use of any weapons against Ukrainian positions by the units of the 1st Army Corps. At the same time, militants are interested in increasing the intensity of attacks on the ATO forces positions aiming at higher remuneration for participating in hostilities," the intelligence added.
