Activists to allow repairing power transmission towers only if all lines supplying Crimea are cut, - Ukrenerho

The participants of the blockade of Russia-occupied Crimea demand cutting of all transmission lines supplying Crimea as a precondition to allow repairing of recently damaged power transmission towers.

Acting CEO of NEC Ukrenerho Vsevolod Kovalchuk announced at a press conference, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"The precondition of those representatives in order to allow us to restore the lines is a guaranteed cessation of power supply to Crimea until a number of political issues they have put forward are solved," he said.

"We need to cut the wires of all four lines at the power transmission towers closest to the place of repair in order to provide them with such a guarantee. After that they will allow us to restore the power transmission lines," the head of the NEC Ukrenerho said.
