Yesterday, Nov. 22, a Volkswagen T4 van with two Ukrainian military was traveling along a field road near Malynove village, Stanytsia Luhanska district, the Luhansk region, when it tripped an unidentified explosive device, presumably land mine, killing one soldier on spot and wounding another. This is reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Luhansk regional military civil administration.
According to head of the administration Hryhorii Tuka, the village Malynove is located in the direction of the foot crossing point in Stanytsia Luhanska, which is used by hundreds of people daily.
"If it was a civilian car that tripped the land mine, there would have been much more casualties," Tuka said.
