Final report on crimes against Maidan canceled

A press conference on crimes against Maidan with the participation of the leadership of the Security Service, Interior Ministry, and Prosecutor General's Office, which was scheduled for Friday morning, has been canceled.

As reported by Censor.NET citing UNIAN, this was announced by PGO press service.

"The press conference is cancelled," the press service informed.

At the same time, nothing was said about whether it had been completely canceled or would be held on a different day and time.

A source in the law enforcement said that the previous briefings covered the maximum possible amount of information on the investigation of crimes against Maidan, so a briefing with the participation of the heads of law enforcement agencies would be ineffective and uninformative. In addition, one of the participants was out of Kyiv.

As reported by 112 Ukraine TV channel, the announcement of the press conference was deleted from PGO website. Interior Ministry spokesman Artem Shevchenko was not very polite to say that Interior Minister Arsen Avakov would not attend any briefings today. "I have no information on today's briefing. Ask those who announced it. I just know that Arsen Avakov will not participate today in this briefing," Shevchenko said.
