 Russia Today office attacked in Israel, people killed

An unidentified man attacked the office of RT TV channel in Tel Aviv, killing and wounding several people.


"A man with a knife attacked the office of RT TV broadcaster in Tel Aviv. Two people were killed and three more were injured. As reported, the attacker is still at large," a statement posted on channel's website notes.

Station's press service, meanwhile, speak of one killed visitor, saying none of the channel's staff has suffered.

"We learned that during the last hour an unknown man accessed the building of our office in Tel Aviv and rushed with a knife at several people. As a result of the attack, one person died, several others were injured," RT press service told Interfax. They made it clear that none of the channel's staff was injured.

"The security service police have arrived," the press service said, adding they did not know if the attacker had been detained and where the victims were.
