 Civilian tripped booby trap in Marinka, - Interior Ministry

Local resident born in 1961 has received a shrapnel wound to his limb in a park near a pond in Marinka, the Donetsk region.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing the Interior Ministry press service.

According to the message, the man went for a walk and came across a booby trap. The explosion has wounded him with a shrapnel.

The man's condition is light. He was able to return home after receiving medical aid.

The Interior Ministry informed that 25 civilians have been killed by tripping mines, booby traps, and other explosives in the Donetsk region in 2015. They include four children, eight women, and 13 men. Another 70 persons received wounds (five children, 28 women, and 37 men). The total toll is 95 people. 38 of them tripped booby traps. Six cases involved tractors tripping mines in fields during farmwork.
