 Greek Parliament ratifies EU-Ukraine association agreement, - Foreign Minister Klimkin

The Parliament of Greece has ratified the association agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin wrote on Twitter, Censor.NET reports.

"And here is another step forward: the Greek Parliament has ratified draft law on the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU today," he wrote.

Later, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko thanked Greece for its support of Ukraine's European integration: "Long-awaited good news. Greek Parliament has ratified EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. Thanks for your support, Greece!" he wrote on Facebook.

Greece was the last of the 28 EU member states that ratified the Association Agreement except for the suspension of the ratification by the Netherlands due to the scheduled referendum on the issue.
