 Clash took place near Orikhove-Donetske, enemy fled, - ATO speaker

Russian-terrorist mercenaries kept conducting provocative fire at the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces positions starting from 6 p.m. yesterday, Nov. 17.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by ATO headquarters press officer Leonid Matiukhin.

"At the Donetsk direction, terrorists fired at Opytne, Pisky, Marinka, Verkhniotoretske, Troitske, and Avdiivka with grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

"The invaders provided accurate fire from small arms at the ATO troops' positions in Novotoshkivske and Orikhove-Donetske at the Luhansk direction," he said.

Matiukhin also informed that the Ukrainian soldiers engaged in a battle with a subversive and reconnaissance group of the enemy consisting of about 20 militants in the vicinity of Orikhove-Donetske at 10 p.m.: "The enemy got a fitting rebuff and fled from the battlefield after its habit."
