According to the simultaneous bulletin counting carried out by the candidate's campaign headquarters, Sienkevych is ahead of his contender by 14,818 votes in 175 out of 209 polling stations.
However, Ihor Diatlov's spokesperson Kateryna Kolpakova issued a statement of Opposition bloc candidate, in which he congratulated his opponent on his victory. At the same time Diatlov noted that the election in Mykolaiv has been democratic, open, and without flat violations.
It should be noted that Opposition bloc faction MP Serhii Liovochkin declared Ihor Diatlov's 60 percent lead in election immediately after the vote. He explained this information by the results of the exit poll held in Mykolaiv. However, Opora Civil Network observers were unaware of the exit polls carried out at polling stations in the city.
