 Lifting of sanctions against Russia depends on implementation of Minsk Agreements, – EU

Leaders of the European Union told about the perspective of the sanctions against Russia.

EU leadership claims that lifting of sanctions against Russia depends on the full implementation of the Minsk Agreements.

Until these agreements are met, the EU restrictive measures will remain in force, head of the European Council Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker announced on Sunday, Nov. 15, before the start of the G20 summit in Turkey.

The sanctions against Russia are to expire in December if the EU does not take a decision to extend them. Previously, Western media reported that Brussels intended to extend the sanctions.
