 Ukrainian special forces neutralized two terrorist groups connected with international terrorism

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held an emergency meeting with the security officials after the terrorist attacks in Paris.

He said he was shocked by the events in France, Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the president.

He said that last night he heard a report from SBU Chief Vasyl Hrytsak concerning the special operation which took place in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area.

"Ukrainian security services have neutralized two groups suspected of preparing terrorist attacks and have ties with certain international terrorist groups," the report reads.

The president instructed the heads of relevant departments to ensure increasing coordination with international partners and exchange information about possible terrorist threats.

"It's not only France but also the UK, the U.S., all of our partners and international organizations on combating terrorism," he said.
