 "DPR" militants confiscated documents belonging to OSCE observers near Novoazovsk

The "DPR" terrorists stopped and searched OSCE observers at a checkpoint in Novoazovsk controlled by the militants Nov. 12.

This is stated in the report of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission as of Nov. 12, Censor.NET informs citing Novosti Donbasa.

The "DPR" members stopped and searched the SMM at a checkpoint in "DPR"-controlled Novoazovsk (45km east of Mariupol). The "DPR" members confiscated a map belonging to the SMM, following which the SMM was allowed to proceed. On the return journey, the SMM was stopped at the same checkpoint and "DPR" members requested that the SMM hand over another map. On this occasion, the SMM refused and was not permitted to travel further. Following phone calls between the JCCC (Joint Center for Control and Coordination of cease-fire) and the SMM, the SMM was allowed to pass through the checkpoint.

The withdrawal of weapons with caliber under 100 mm is underway in the ATO area. It will be possible to confirm the completion of all stages of the withdrawal of weapons in the Donbas only after its verification by the representatives of the OSCE mission. According to the ATO speaker Leonid Matiukhin, the Ukrainian side completed the process Nov. 12.

The militants' attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian military have become more frequent in recent days. The ATO press center insists that the assaults are provocative.
