 Congress of judges dismisses Constitutional Court judge Bryntsev

The 13th Congress of judges has dismissed Constitutional Court judge Vasyl Bryntsev.

374 out of 388 elected Congress delegates voted for this decision.

8 delegates voted against.

Bryntsev dismissed in connection with the expiration of 9-year tenure.

He assumed the office of the Constitutional Court judge in August 2006. He was deputy chairman of the Constitutional Court from 2007 to 2010.

After the announcement of the decision Bryntsev thanked the judges for their support. "I wish you would be united because we will never fall only if we are united," - he said.

It is known that the Congress of judges has received seven applications from the candidates for the post of the Constitutional Court judge instead of dismissed Bryntsev.
