 Postponement of anti-corruption prosecutor’s appointment is unacceptable - he should start working Dec. 1, - Ukrainian President

Poroshenko promises that he will not postpone the date of appointment of the anti-corruption prosecutor again.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said during a meeting with the newly elected mayors broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"The anti-corruption bureau is created as of today. As far as I was informed, the testing of anti-corruption prosecutors - the candidates for the position of anti-corruption prosecutor, has already been completed. He will be [introduced] Dec. 1, and I stress and insist that there will be no postponement, no delay. Dec. 1, the anti-corruption prosecutor together with the independent anti-corruption agency and the detectives will show that we're not just talking about changing names but about the institutional changes," the president said.
