 Military clash took place near Novozvanivka, caused casualties to pro-Russian terrorists, - ATO press center

Terrorists continued shelling the Ukrainian army's positions at Artemivsk and Donetsk directions yesterday.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center on Facebook.

According to the HQ, pro-Russian terrorists used 82-mm mortars, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms to fire at Maiorsk and Zaitseve, the Donetsk region.

"At 10 p.m. [last night - ed.] a clash took place near those villages. Russian-terrorist mercenaries attempted an assault against our military near Novozvanivka. Upon a sabotage and reconnaissance group's [of the enemy - ed.] approach, a decision was aimed to employ deadly force," the message reads.

It is noted that the enemy retreated and attempted a left-flank envelop.

"Upon another assault attempt, fire for effect had been opened. After collecting their killed and wounded, the invaders retreated."

The HQ also informed that separatists were shelling Avdiivka, Pisky, and Marinka from small arms and grenade launchers yesterday. The latest shelling occurred after 2 a.m. Nov. 11 against Avdiivka, the Donetsk region.
