The document stipulates that the National agency of Ukraine on finding, search, and management of assets received from corrupt and other crimes (aka National agency) will be the central body of the executive authorities with a special status, providing for the state policy regarding assets from corrupt activities, their possible arrest and subsequent management.
The Agency reports to the Verkhovna Rada and is controlled by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the law provides.
It will be formed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine under Ukrainian Constitution, this law, and other laws of Ukraine. The agency's activities will be based on the Constitution of Ukraine, international agreements the obligation of which is approved by the Rada, this law, and other related legislation.
The National agency will comprise a central office and territorial agencies, the bill reads.
