 Night passed quietly in Luhansk sector

It was quiet in the Luhansk sector of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area last night.

Censor.NET reports citing the ATO press center.

Press officer of the A Sector Anatolii Proishyn said on Channel 112 Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.

Earlier the ATO press center reported about the escalation of the conflict in the Artemivsk, Donetsk, and Mariupol sectors. The militants fired from automatic and antitank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and sniper rifles. They fired at Novoselivka Druha with 82-mm mortars, the report reads.

Deterioration of the situation in the ATO area can lead to failure of the withdrawal of weapons and a further escalation of the conflict, the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Cease-fire reported.
