Over 700 police departments and stations are currently fully-operable in the regions of Ukraine and in Kyiv as part of the Police Main Directorates. The police have already received 3,300 reports from citizens today, Nov. 7, Censor.NET informs citing the press service of the Interior Ministry.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the authorities of the National Police have taken a number of necessary measures to ensure strict implementation of the Law of Ukraine on the National Police, which entered into force today, Nov. 7, 2015.
"In particular, the Main Directorates of the National Police in the regions and police departments have been established and registered as legal entities of public law. The staff composition of the National Police administrative office, which includes the list of territorial bodies of the police and staff register of each unit, has been approved," the law enforcement agency stressed.
217 police departments and 489 police stations are currently fully operable in the regions of Ukraine and in Kyiv as part of the Police Main Directorates.
Investigators have already been appointed in every police department and station in execution of the Law of Ukraine on the National Police and the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine with regard to a fast, full and impartial investigation into crimes. They are performing their duties in full.
In addition, employees of local police station's front offices have been appointed to ensure receipt and registration of crime reports and organize appropriate response.
The police have already received 3,300 reports from citizens today, Nov. 7. Each report is considered by а relevant officer of the National Police, in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.
