"As far as I know, Hennadii Korban is now on the way to Dnipropetrovsk. He is not wearing a bracelet yet and is under convoy of guards. He will have the bracelet put on after the arrival in Dnipropetrovsk, at a police department," lawyer Andrii Bohdan told UNIAN.
Korban's defense intends to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights in connection with the actions of prosecutor's office during the arrest, Bohdan said to 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"We will analyze everything, first of all, the decision regarding the house arrest as well as a possibile appeal. We will be active in submitting documents to the European Court of Human Rights in respect of the actions taken during the detention which we believe are crimes by the PGO," Bohdan said.
The lawyer added that the defense will take steps to prove the absolute innocence of the client and groundlessness of claims, as well as to win a compensation for damage allegedly caused to him by law enforcers.
