"The discipline and morale in formations and detachments of the Russian-terrorist troops' 1st and 2nd Army Corps is substantially deteriorating due to the reduction of funding of the armed groups, including delays in the payment of money allowance and hard service conditions. 15 militants were killed and about 20 wounded as a result of clashes between separatists' formations in Donetsk. The "DPR law enforcers" detained over 40 militants for participation in skirmishes," the statement reads.
It is noted that protest sentiment is spreading among residents of the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, which is caused by the increase in number of cases of banditry and misuse of small arms by personnel of the detachments of the 1st Army Corps after taking alcohol and drugs.
"Commanders of the detachments and formations cover up these facts," the agency added.
