Security Service says the arrested former Justice Minister Olena Lukash had not come in touch with investigators while hiding in relatives' private house in Kyiv.

This was announced by SBU press officer Olena Hitlianska on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Olena Lukash eluded investigation all the way through. That is why the Prosecutor General's Office decided to declare the former minister wanted, posting corresponding information on Interior Ministry website. Following the move, the Security Service of Ukraine carried out appropriate actions to establish her place of residence.

"It was established that at the moment Olena Lukash was hiding in a Kyiv private estate registered with one of her family members. An appropriate procedural decision on Lukash's apprehension was taken, followed by relevant operative actions. It is noteworthy that after the officers appeared near the house, Olena Lukash declared her readiness to cooperate with the investigation," Hitlianska wrote.
