Parliament will pass full set of visa-free bills Nov. 10, Speaker Hroisman says

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Hroisman is sure that Nov. 10 the parliament will adopt the bills necessary for the implementation of the action plan for liberalization of EU visa regime for Ukraine.

Censor.NET reports citing the parliamentary speaker's Facebook.

"I urge all MPs to continue to work hard to find a consensus for the sake of the European future of Ukraine. All these bills will be considered next Tuesday. I'm sure about successful voting," the speaker said.

Hroisman wrote he decided to close the evening session with majority of visa-free bills unconsidered, as there was a high probability they would not score the required number of votes.

He believes the parliament has no right to defeat the bills.

In addition, he stressed the necessity of passing the bill No. 2835 on the decrease of the rental fee rate on the use of mineral resources in natural gas production, as well as considering the extension of moratorium on sale of agricultural land.
