 Poroshenko awarded 210 ATO fighters

President Poroshenko has awarded 210 soldiers and Interior Ministry officers who took part in fighting in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area.

The head of state signed the relevant decree No. 622/2015 on Nov. 3, Censor.NET reports citing president's official website.

The awards have been received by 171 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 26 Interior Ministry military and officers, three of whom - posthumously, as well as 13 border guards, two of whom - posthumously.

Among those awarded, there are 16 military doctors who saved hundreds of soldiers and officers' lives in combat.

The awards have also been won by 28th Mechanized Brigade fighters who distinguished themselves in battles near Marinka on June 3, 2015 as well as by the military of the anti-tank artillery battalion of the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade, who demonstrated courage and invincibility of spirit in battles near Debaltseve in January and February 2015.

In addition, the Order "For Courage" of the III degree was awarded to the members of Junior Sgt Mykola Tyshchyk's tank crew.
