 Captive Russian GRU operatives Aleksandrov and Yerofeyev ask court to recognize them prisoners of war

The Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine has received a claim from the defense of commandos of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (GRU) Alexander Aleksandrov and Yevgeniy Yerofeyev to recognize them as prisoners of war.

The press service of the Supreme Administrative Court informed Interfax-Ukraine correspondent on Tuesday, Nov. 3, Censor.NET reports.

"The lawsuit was filed. It was transferred to the judge by an automated case management system (computer-aided distribution of cases between judges - Ed.) yesterday, Nov. 2. The judge is obliged to decide on the opening of the proceedings within three days on receipt of a claim," the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine press service reported.
