As reported by Censor.NET citing RBC-Ukraine, this was announced by Yurii Lutsenko, head of Poroshenko Bloc faction, after a meeting of the faction's board.
"We have decided that in building majority at local councils we do not enter into coalition with the Opposition Bloc and its satellites, and, in particular, we oppose the election of citizen Vilkul mayor of Dnipropetrovsk," Lutsenko said.
At the same time, Lutsenko said that President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko strongly criticised election campaigns in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, which failed to showcase the effective public policy of the party.
"The president stressed he is not interested in Korban's own fate and will not make any statements on this issue, because in any democratic country, president's statements on such occasions are considered as pressure on justice and the court. But he believes that the country should be freed from organized criminal gangs, in particular, the one from Dnipropetrovsk, which has caused the state to lose more than UAH 10 bln (about $434.9 mln). But it is not about Korban, we are talking about an organized criminal group operating in the territory of Dnipropetrovsk and other regions," Lutsenko said, noting that the president called on MPs to do their utmost so that former officials of Yanukovych's regime and people's deputies at the moment were brought to justice.
"The current regulations make it almost impossible. Therefore, changing the rules to curtail the procedure of bringing MPs to justice on prosecutor's request is the key to solving the problem with former representatives of Yanukovych's regime who are hiding in the Ukrainian parliament," Lutsenko said.
