Party's press service says it in Twitter, Censor.NET reports.
Department for investigation of corruption offenses committed by officials is carrying out a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings instituted on Aug. 29 after Samopomich leader Andrii Sadovyi's claim of bribery of deputies.
As previously reported, the PGO responded to a statement by Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Hroisman and summoned Samopomich leader Andrii Sadovyi for questioning as a witness in the case of attempted bribery of deputies of his faction before an extraordinary parliamentary session where constitutional amendments in terms of decentralization were to be considered.
Aug. 29, Andrii Sadovyi said his party's deputies in the parliament were offered money and posts prior to voting for amendments to the constitution. In turn, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Hroisman urged the PGO and the Anti-Corruption Bureau to investigate the possibility of bribing MPs and come up with a corresponding legal decision.
