The fall draft to the Ukrainian Army has started, which had been earlier postponed due to local elections held on Oct. 25. This was announced by TSN news, Censor.NET reports.
11,000 men aged 20 to 27 are planned to be drafted for the military service in November.
6,000 of them will serve in the army, another 5,000 in the National Guard. The draftees who had attended colleges will serve for one year, those without degree - for one year and a half. They are said not be involved in the Donbas combat activities.
The military draft in Ukraine was cancelled in fall of 2013, and renewed after the Russian aggression in the Donbas began in spring of 2014.
