 PM Yatseniuk urges to deprive PGO of investigation capacity

Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine should be deprived of the capacity to carry out investigations, and the new independent State Bureau of Investigation should be created.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk said on the air of "10 minutes with the prime minister" TV program, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

"We need to deprive the Prosecutor General's Office of its investigation capacity and create the new independent State Bureau of Investigation," the head of the government said.

In addition, he added that the parliament should adopt several other important laws next week including the ones concerning the state budget, tax reform, and introduction of a visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens into the European Union.
