He reminded that Boiko was chief of the M Department which controlled the activity of the media during the Yannukovych times. When Revolution of Dignity started, he was part of the anti-terrorist operation in the streets of Kyiv against the protesters. In particular, he was listed responsible for the shutdown of a number of leading media.

"Therefore, Boiko was involved in an unprecedented cynic attack on the editorial of Censor.NET on Dec. 9, 2013, and abduction of the servers of the website conducted without a court order or any other documents by a group of unidentified armed men in masks. A joint task force of the SBU and the FSB was dealing with Internet media in Ukraine at that time. Censor.NET survived only by miracle," Butusov wrote.
He also noted that after the revolution the SBU brought the servers back to the office without any documents.
