 Ukraine paid $176 million external liabilities to IMF in September - National Bank

Ukraine has paid $176 million to the IMF on the current liabilities in September.

The National Bank of Ukraine declared in its macroeconomic and monetary report of September, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

The report reads that the surplus of the consolidated balance of payments ($348 million) provided possibility to make payments on the IMF loan (in the amount of $176 million) as well as ensure the growth of international reserves to $12.8 billion or up to 3.1 months of imports in future period.

It should be reminded that the deficit of the consolidated balance of payments amounted to $13.307 billion in 2014.
