 50% of protocols processed in Kyiv: Klitschko wins 39.64%, Bereza - 9.21%, Omelchenko - 9.08%

The latest update on Kyiv mayoral elections shows that 39.64 percent of voters have supported Petro Poroshenko Bloc candidate Vitalii Klitschko, 9.21 percent - Verkhovna Rada deputy Boryslav Bereza, 9.08 percent - Yednist candidate Oleksandr Omelchenko. The Kyiv territorial election commission has counted about 50% of the protocols.

As of 7:30 p.m., the territorial election commission has processed the data from 49 precincts of the Pechersk district, 87 precincts of the Holosiivskyi district, 138 - of the Desnianskyi, 136 - of the Darnytsia, and 105 - of the Shevchenko.

According to the agency, 142,226 Kyiv residents voted for Klitschko, 37,719 - for Bereza, and 37,187 - for Omelchenko.

In addition, Samopomich candidate Serhii Husovskyi wins 7.97 percent (32,613 votes), Batkivshchyna candidate Volodymyr Bondarenko - 7.18 percent (29,391 votes), and Opposition bloc candidate Oleksandr Puzanov - 4.16 percent (17,028 votes).

According to the Central Election Commission, a total of 891,750 voters took part in mayoral elections in Kyiv.
