 Cyprus ratifies Ukraine-EU Association Agreement

Cyprus has ratified the Agreement on Association between Ukraine and the European Union.

Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin wrote on Twitter, Censor.NET reports.

He wrote: "The Parliament of Cyprus has ratified our Association Agreement. We have become one step closer to the European objective."

Thus, the Association Agreement approved by 22 countries under the full procedure, two countries are pending a final decision of the president (Italy, Czech Republic), one country intends to hold a referendum on the agreement (the referendum is advisory in nature), one country is pending a decision by the Parliament of the region (Belgium), one country has not yet begun the ratification process (Greece).
