 All Ukrainians in Russia obliged to visit Migration Service within a month to determine their legal status

All citizens of Ukraine residing in the territory of the Russian Federation must apply to local department of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation in November to determine their legal status.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation.

According to the agency, the migration service repeatedly extended the term of temporary stay in Russia to all categories of the citizens of Ukraine "for humanitarian reasons" in 2015. The extension of temporary stay expires on October 31, 2015.

"The citizens of Ukraine, who reside in the territory of the Russian Federation, must apply to the local department of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation in the period between Nov. 1 and Nov.30 to determine their legal status. An exception is made for Ukrainian citizens, who urgently arrived from the south-eastern regions of Ukraine on a massive scale. The migration rules remain the same for them," the statement reads.
