 One Ukrainian soldier killed in yesterday shelling of Opytne, - General Staff speaker

One Ukrainian soldier was killed in yesterday's shelling of Opytne village, the Donetsk region, by pro-Russian mercenaries.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the General Staff HQ speaker Vladyslav Selezniov in his commentary to UNN.

"Yesterday near Opytne village, Ukrainian positions were fired at from small arms at around 6 p.m. The fire was conducted from the direction of the Donetsk airport. As a result of the shelling, one Ukrainian soldier received wounds that caused his death," Selezniov announced.

As reported, the press center of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) announced Oct. 26 that pro-Russian terrorists shelled the Ukrainian positions near Opytne and Pisky, the Donetsk airport vicinity.
